Beck/Arnley is one of the world’s premier suppliers of import automotive parts. However, their new spark plug wire offerings were falling flat in the marketplace. Conway rebranded the wires and created exciting new packaging that embodied the product. Our Blue Thunder™ packaging won the Best Packaging of the Year Award at the SEMA/APEX Show in Las Vegas in 1997.

Challenge:

Brand and launch new spark plug product line.

Audience:

National aftermarket automotive part chains like NAPA AUTO PARTS, AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts, Pep Boys, and O’Reilly.

Solution:

Created “Blue Thunder” name and new packaging.

Result:

Blue Thunder is one of the most preferred lines of spark plug wires in the import aftermarket.
